Timeline

1989

The Foundation of Office Systems

Office Systems Aruba was established following a strategic market expansion. Under the joint executive leadership of Stella van Gulick-Arends and Myra Maduro-Arends, they officially acquired the assett portfolio and educational furnishing division of Cempro Technica.

1991

Commercial Scaling & Initial Relocation

Driven by rapidly increasing client acquisition, Office Systems Aruba outgrew its original footprint. The company completed its first major operational relocation, moving into a larger facility engineered to accomodate broader inventory lines and scalable enterprise solutions.

1999

Generational Succession

In 1998, a decade into the company's operations, management transitioned to the next generation. Myra's sons, Carlos and Jaime Maduro, joined the business, bringing extensive international experience from the project design, corporate furnishings and logistics sectors in the Netherlands and the United States. Their arrival integrated global best practices directly into the company's core operations.

To capitalize on the momentum, the new leadership aggressively drove the company's growth strategy. They spearheaded a capital investment plan to insulate operations from changing real estate markets, acquiring land and constructing a custom, purpose-built commercial facility. This successful final relocation established the company's permanent local anchor.

2003

Industrial Transition: The Birth of Eagle Design & Manufacturing

Recognizing supply chain inefficiencies inherent to international importation models, management initiated a long-term plan for vertical integration. Office Systems Aruba acquired specialized industrial machinery to launch its first in-house manufacturing operation, initially specializing in the technical assembly and custom upholstery of ergonomic office seating. With this step, Eagle Design & Manufacturing was born. Establishing the specialized manufacturing division that handles all production and fabrication for Office Systems Aruba.

2004

Industrial Facility Expansion

Following the initial success of the seating production line, the company outgrew its original footprint. Office Systems Aruba and Eagle Design & Manufacturing broke ground on a major structural factory expansion. This capital investment laid the physical and technical foundation required to scale production from seating assembly to full-scale furniture fabrication.

2005

Full-Scale Vertical Integration & Manufacturing Launch

With the facility expansion complete, Office Systems Aruba and its Eagle Design & Manufacturing division executed a full-scale industrial launch. The company integrated heavy machinery and global semi-finished supply lines to begin the domestic fabrication of modular office furniture systems, accoustic partitions and customized executive desking. This milestone established the company as an independent manufacturer, permanently shifting its reliance away from traditional external importers.
